It takes ages to populate. I had a TVonics PVR previously and that cached the EPG while turned off which the 9150 doesn't. Therefore the EPG on the TVonics was there straight away. Even my TV manages to remember the EPG when I turn it off and has it instantly visible when I need it. Under the hood, essentially, you’ll find twin Freeview tuners and 160GB of hard disk drive and this is where the real contest is fought. It is not the biggest of drives, but for those looking to record on an ad hoc basis this is more than adequate, giving you about 100 hours of television recording.
