Another winner from Elle Kennedy for me! She definitely knows how to deliver a well written, sexy and sweet new adult romance that's low on the angst and high on the humor with a dash of touching moments. Yes, definitely recommended if you're looking for a light easy read.

In all novellas (except gracelogan's because theirs was written a long time ago, I suppose) the common denominator was that EK wrote her characters being unnecessarily mean and 100% jerks. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you're reading a novella that takes place after one's book, you would expect lots of happy and domestic scenes. Well, at least I would.One of the biggest issues I had with this book was the way the author portrayed college life and the character stupidity that resulted because of such a shallow, inaccurate, and offensive portrayal. I think each author should read this and take notes on how NOT to write a novella for their characters. It will leave them an invaluable lesson I believe. He’s corrupted me with the dirty words he whispers when we fool around, and I like it. I like the thrill of being bold and wanton, and I love the way his warm flesh quivers when I taste him with my tongue.” Pissed off that it's over already, even though I tried to read as slowly as possible to savor the lurve.

These two finally have some time away alone together in a tropical paradise, but things don't really go according to plan. There's a creepy haunted doll (that's featured in each novella) and some big decisions to be made about both their careers.

The Series. This is my go to, my all star, my most recommended NA one. I do NOT want it to end and it breaks my heart knowing there is only ONE more left. Although, I will be continuously re-reading it. I saw a lot of potential in this author and the series keeps getting BETTER and BETTER (if that's even possible). I love the way the stories intertwine and I get to continuously read about familiar faces. Each novel has it's own unique love story and I HIGHLY recommend reading them if you haven't so already.The Legacy is not what I have in mind when I think of an epilogue novel(las). If you decide to write additional novella for each couple, then I expect a lot of domestic fluff and not fights about important milestones like marriage, pregnancy, kids etc. These kind of conflicts can be handled in each couple's full lenght novel. I really expected more happy scenes between each couple and instead we got some heavy stuff and unnecessary fights & drama. You two want to get a room?” I ask as they practically hang over me, making googly eyes at each other. Reformed manwhore. Yeah yeah, you know the type, we all love them. But once he gets Allie, he is loyal, so no worries about hanky panky on the side ladies. I adore this series and I loved this book, I really did. Dean is my favorite in this series. The book contains all the elements I love in the college romance genre: a manwhore-turned-prince-charming hero, a strong and determined heroine and lots of steamy and LOL moments.

And then we have the conflict of Allie not wanting to get married anytime soon and stopping Dean before he could propose, which was stupid. Even tho it was cute when Allie realised her mistake and propsed to Dean instead. Dean was rather occupied when the text about Allie was sent... so he had no clue anyone was coming over, let alone Hannah's bestie. Dean was in a trance of mystical proportions...instead of 2 of everything... there were 4...He was living the dream all guys have when wanting more than what one person can give...He was about to enter nirvana when the banging on his door interrupted his entering the treasured path...A hot encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he’s worth a second chance. Oh yeah. I can see why Garrett sneaks into your hotel rooms for all those secret man-on-man bone-zone sessions.” Amy: I have no idea what to start after being enraptured by The Deal. I loved it. Loved, loved, LOVED it!! I’m sooooo leery of starting another contemporary romance right now because it woud have some pretty big shoes to fill after Garrett and “Wellsy” (so cute!). The bromance in this book was strong and amazing and that's why I was so heartbroken when the things went wrong but I guess that's real life and indeed things like these happens and people got hurt but still, it was really sad and unfortunate!
