About this deal

There is a not-so-easy-to-spot mechanism in the front, looking a bit like a square. You need to push it in and pull the wheel out. Again, it doesn't go totally lightly so be ready to push and pull. One of the key features of this stroller is its foldability, allowing for easy storage and transportation. The fold style is umbrella, making it compact and effortless to collapse when not in use. The Maclaren Techno XT has four front wheels and four rear wheels, providing stability and maneuverability. The wheels have fixed and swivel mobility options, enabling smooth navigation in various environments. I absolutely love this stroller. It is in another class than the rest of them. I am a grandmother and bought it for my first grandson, now six. It was supposed to have been used at my place when they are visiting, but my daughter loved it so much that she had sold the one they bought and used the Maclaren.

The Maclaren Techno XT comes with essential accessories to enhance functionality. These accessories include a hood (cover) and a rain cover, protecting your child from the elements and ensuring a comfortable ride. One thing could be just live with it and own that you have a pushchair that survived one child, a lot of sun, and still works fine even if faded. Most of the repairs I’ve done over the years have been related to the wheels mostly swivel or brake problems related to the rip your hair out awful to disassemble, dual wheel no ball bearing system they have or rather had going on. Dual wheels. I mean, come on. On strollers of this size. You really need eight separate wheels. Actually, after reading about oh and Maclaren it’s hard for me not to look at those dual wheels is coming directly from aero-plane design. Am I right? I’m actually going to lay off all of these wheel issues though because despite the fact that most other umbrella stroller manufacturers still use a dual wheel approach.Do the wheels come off? I want to take a Mclaren Techno abroad in a duffel. Any suggestions of how I can do this? Folded, it is too long. It is easy to handle, not heavy and fits anywhere - even next to the driver in the car. You can see that it is sewn from quality material - nothing is ripping anywhere, nothing hangs. And it is just very nice to look at - who wouldn't love a Maclaren, right? :)

The Maclaren Techno XT is an umbrella stroller designed for infants and toddlers. With a recommended age minimum of 0 months, it provides a convenient and comfortable way to transport your child. It features a single seat, making it suitable for one child at a time. The Quest is fine for a toddler (we used it from 3 months and it was fine at that age too). It reclines well, has a leg rest that you can extend and is well-made. The only thing the Techno has better than the Quest is the extending hood, which is handy to shelter your child from wind or sun.

Stroller handles should also be comfortable to hold. This holds significance also because it is where you hold when you are pushing and maneuvering. Fortunately, both the handles Quest and Techno XT are comfortable and ergonomic. I've got both and I have to disagree with the replies above! In my opinion, unless you need the buggy to be suitable from birth then it's not worth paying the extra for the Techno. Hey, Maclaren Techno XT enthusiasts The original rain cover, as well as footmuff for the winter is also included to keep the little lad / lass warm.

Your child’s safety on baby strollers is supreme. No one should cut corners and comprise it. As a parent, you always worry about it every second. You do not have to worry as much with Maclaren’s Newborn Safety System. This safety system adds covering for your infant when the seat is fully reclined. Both models have a lightweight yet rigid frame. Maclaren also added more streamlined wheels that have full-suspension on each wheel. There are single front wheels that are said to be more agile which adds to its maneuverability. These single front wheels reduce friction between the wheels and the ground for a smooth and quiet ride. Lastly, the seat cover is easily removable and washable. Both are flagship strollers with equally premium prices. But there is still a price difference between them.

The stroller has a lot of reflective elements. Advantages are the height adjustable handles and one hand (or rather foot) folding. The dimensions when folded and the weight are not quite ideal for a travel stroller and you need to measure first if it will fit in the car at all.

Some mums, skilled in tailoring, put the original hood down and we a new one from a different fabric, replicating the original one. Or they ask a tailor to make that for them, but that costs money. Try and ask around to see how much. With a maximum baby weight capacity of 15 kilograms, this stroller accommodates a range of sizes and ages. It is designed to provide a secure and comfortable environment for your little one, allowing you to confidently navigate your daily activities. Well loved single buggy. Swivel wheels. Good breaks. Adjustable height handles. Handles need some covers. I use velcro strap covers which I will include. Great condition. Hardly used and spent most of the time in the car. Comes from a smoke free and pet free house. I have had this buggy 3 years, I use it every day, have hung huge amounts of shopping on it along with a 3yo sat in it and it's very sturdy. The wheels are great and they don't wear down like a lot of other buggy's. It's very light weight when it's folded down, made easier too with the carry handle.I've got both! I bought my XT because my Quest was becoming harder to push, the heavier my DD became. I love love love my XT. It's my second one. The first one was used to death, but unfortunately went mouldy as I stored it overnight in a damp garage all winter, after using it everyday on the school run.
